MEET SIMON
Simon Mandal is a world-renowned illusionist, mentalist, and comedian who specializes in live events.
Simon was born in London England, and spent the first few years of his life in Kent- a suburb of London with a vibrant art community. His family moved to NJ when his father, Niall was recruited as a computer scientist by the world famous Bell Labs in Murray Hill, NJ, Simon's mother Anne worked in local government in gorgeous Chatham, NJ.
Simon grew up in New Providence, NJ, and Idyllic small town known for its dedication to academics, athletics, and the arts. Simon excelled in computers, karate, wrestling, and acting.
Simon studied theater at the Mason Gross School of The Arts - a prestigious conservatory with a less than 1% acceptance rate. In 2000 he graduated from The William Esper Studio, which has produced many Academy Award, Emmy, and Tony award winning actors. He studied comedy writing at the legendary Upright Citizen's Brigade, and further honed his comedy chops as a professional comedian in Manhattan.
A chance meeting with the legendary magician Gazzo changed the course of Simon's comedy career. Simon became Gazzo's student, and with Gazzo's expert guidance, Simon became a master magician himself, and added world class magic to his comedy show.
Simon's hilarious (and squeaky clean) show soon caught the eye of corporate America. His client list quickly grew to include Google, Harvard, MGM, and many of the world's most famous faces.
Simon’s unique approach to magic has been featured in Newsweek, USA Today, and The Guardian.
Simon is celebrated for his quick wit, relaxed charm, mind-bending magic, and dedication to making events unforgettably fun.
Simon lives in the rolling hills of Bernardsville, NJ with his wife Ruth, and their cuddly dog Clara.
